A prefilled email after one scan

The code opens the phone's mail app with the address, subject and body filled in. It is handy when you want people to contact you about something specific, so you do not have to ask later which product they meant.

Examples

  • Quotes: subject “Quote request – booth 12” at a trade show.
  • Support and returns: on packaging, with the product model in the subject.
  • Job applications: on a “We're hiring” sign, with the subject “Application – sales assistant”.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: body text “Please subscribe me”.

Tips

If the subject differs per occasion (each booth, each product), make a separate code for each one. The subject line then tells you where every inquiry came from. Keep the body short: more text means a denser code.
